Big Aussie Sports Day and BBQ = A fun day outdoors! (Aug 7)

New York’s Australians are gearing up for an afternoon of our favorite sports with a side of homestyle bbq and celebrating the summer together at the Big Aussie Sports Day & BBQ in Prospect Park on August 7, 2021 from 12-5pm. A fun day outdoors celebrating life in New York after a year of being apart!

We’re teaming up with AmericaJosh.comAmericanAustralian.org, and Advance.org to play some of our favorite outdoor sports and games — Australian rules footy, badminton, lawn bowls, thong/flip-flop toss and sack races — and put on a sausage sizzle as Australians in New York come together and enjoy an afternoon of sunshine in the park (with a snag in hand).

We’ll provide the sports and games, sausage sizzle, a charity raffle, giveaways, and entertainment. You bring a picnic, drinks, and your mates.

Everyone is welcome but capacity is limited, and registration is essential to confirm your spot:
