If you’re new to New York or looking for a network of Australian and NZ women to connect with, we invite you to join AWNY’s friendly Community team at our monthly, in-person Coffee Strolls and/or virtual Chinwag events. We trade tips on living in New York, catch up on the latest goings on around town, and share some laughs.  

Membership

AWNY hosts a diverse range of social events, and educational and professional networking opportunities that are open to both members and non-members.

Corporate and individual membership to the American Australian Association automatically entitles women to join AWNY. Members enjoy discounted rates on AWNY events and access to a wide range of other AAA functions, resources and news. To become a member, visit the AAA membership page.

Our Meet & Greet Program

We’ve updated our in-person meet & greet program to suit the current times. We hope you’ll join us as we head outdoors for our Coffee Strolls to explore the city and support the many top notch Aussie coffee joints. If you’re unable to join our in-person meet-ups, jump on-line and enjoy a cuppa and catch-up with us at our regular virtual Chinwag events.
 
If you complete the form below, we will put you in touch with an AWNY member with similar interests, who has experienced the transition of moving to and living in NYC. They can help out with some valuable tips on how to navigate life in the city, introduce you to like-minded people, or just be a friendly face at an upcoming event (virtual or IRL).
