AWNY is here to support all Australian & New Zealand women whatever the stage of their New York adventure. We host a diverse range of social and professional networking events to make life in NYC as rewarding as possible. Each year at our AGM, you – our members – are provided the opportunity to join the AWNY Committee.
Who Are We Looking For?
Volunteers are needed with skills in marketing, communications, event management and project management…and simply being a friendly face.
How Do I Become a Volunteer?
Come along to our AGM during which we elect new and current volunteers to all of the committee roles.

Date: Monday, April 27
Time: 6pm for 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Where: Downstairs at The Liberty NYC, 29 W 35th St, New York, NY 10001
Cost: Free to attend the AGM, appetizers included, cash bar for drinks.

There will be networking drinks before and after the formal election procedures.
About the AWNY AGM
Each year we hold our AGM, where members are provided the opportunity to join the AWNY Committee. Established by the American Australian Association in 1999, AWNY is a dynamic group of women of all ages & backgrounds. We host a diverse range of social events, educational & professional networking opportunities.
Our goal is to be known as the must-join group for all Aussie/Kiwi Women when moving to New York and provide a forum for women to come together. It is a group for networking, support and sharing ideas and experiences; and for making the transition into New York life as rewarding as possible!
