It is that time of year again, Halloween! A parent’s nightmare but our kid’s favorite day of the year.

So, what’s happening in New York this year for Halloween? I noticed a lot of celebrations are happening the week before i.e. 26/27 Oct, which is this weekend.

Spooky Nights Walk Bronx Zoo Park, Bronx – Enjoy a night walk through the zoo, while enjoying pizza and checking out what happens as the sun goes down. They also do a daytime ‘Boo at the Zoo’ walk around. Daily until 31 Oct.

Halloween Boo Bash – Randall’s Island, Oct 31. Craft activities, games and candy for your bucket.

BAMboo – Brooklyn. Free Community celebration. Music, games, arts and crafts. 4-9pm on Halloween. Oct 31.

As you probably know, your local neighborhood will have dedicated streets with brownstones decorated and ‘block parties’ and if you are in a condo/ apartment building, you will have plenty of candy to collect from all the apartments.

Happy Halloween!
