Join AWNY on the rooftop of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for summer cocktails and breathtaking panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline and Central Park.
Savor the last days of summer in a beautiful open-air garden overlooking the city and catch the sunset on a Friday night with the ladies! If you are new to the city, or hoping to meet more like-minded Australian and Kiwi women living in NYC, this is the perfect opportunity to connect.
It is also a great opportunity to see Huma Bhabha’s sci-fi inspired installation: We Come in Peace, on the rooftop.

Event details
Date: Friday, September 14
Time: 5.30pm – 8.00pm
Where: Cantor Roof Garden Bar, level 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000 5th Ave, New York, New York 10028.
Cost: Admission fee to the museum, plus cash bar for your own drinks. NY State residents are admitted to the museum on a pay as you wish basis (bring accepted proof of residency), otherwise, admission is $25 per adult.

How to get to the rooftop: Take the elevator located in the European Sculpture and Decorative Arts galleries.
How to find us: Look for Carrie in a red dress near the entrance or follow the Aussie accents!
