The Australian Women in New York hosted social drinks at Hudson Hotel Library Bar on February 20, 2018. The event was well attended, with around 50 ladies joining us at Ian Schrager’s exquisite Midtown West hotel. In a stunning setting with incredibly high ceilings (under a 13 foot high mirror we were guessing might weigh one thousand pounds) new members came to gather and mingle, alongside veterans of the AWNY group.
Cocktails and wine by the fireplace made for a fun night to make new friends and enjoy the company of Australian women in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond. AWNY will definitely continue to include social drinks on the calendar, especially with the newcomers in mind.
