New York City’s Floating Concert Hall
Join your AWNY friends on Saturday, July 11 at 4.00PM for “Music in Motion”, a free chamber music event presented by world class and emerging musicians. The event will take place at Bargemusic, a unique and startlingly beautiful venue of a floating barge at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Bargemusic has a dramatic backdrop view of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline. Walk across the gangplank of this renovated coffee barge into a venue that has been described as a “wonderfully intimate wood-paneled room with thrilling views of lower Manhattan and excellent acoustics.”
The performance will run for 1 hour, followed by a Q&A session with the musicians. Afterwards, join us for a treat from the nearby Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.

When: Saturday, July 11 at 4.00PM. Doors open 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
