Friends of Australian Wildlife Conservancy Event: Australia Day Party at Soho House

Sunday, January 25, 2015
Soho House
29-35 9th Avenue, New York

Even though you may live far away, we still call Australia home!  And there’s no better time to toast the Land Down Under than on Australia Day!

Friends of Australian Wildlife Conservancy invite New Yorkers and patriotic Aussies to celebrate Australia Day at Soho House on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2pm.

Let’s join forces to commemorate all things Australian… ice cold beer, sizzling snags off the BBQ, a sing along to a Johnny Farnham classic or two and admire Australia’s unique wildlife.

A smorgasbord of raffle prizes will be on offer, including cases of iconic Coopers beer, a pyramid of Tim Tams, Aussie delicacies (remember Allen’s Snakes Alive?), Aesop beauty pack and restaurant vouchers from Burke & Wills.

In lieu of a ticket price, a donation to Friends of Australian Wildlife Conservancy is greatly appreciated (suggested donation $50 – $200 per person).  All funds raised from the Australia Day party will go towards protecting Australia’s threatened wildlife and their unique habitats.

This event is SOLD OUT. However, if you would like to make a donation or find out any further information about the Friends of Australian Wildlife Conservancy please email Georgina Duckworth –
