Who is the ISIS Group?

  • The ISIS Group is a unique organisation with two parts. They are an international development organisation focused on health and education service to some of the world’s poorest people. They have touched the lives of tens of thousands of people in need. They are also one of the earliest examples of a business for purpose, rather than profit. At inception, they set up a corporate finance business as the funding engine for the development organisation. 100% of all donor money goes to project-related costs, thanks to the business structure covering all administration costs. To date, the business has donated about A$8million to the work of the Foundation.

The ISIS Foundation specialises in three key areas of work:

  • Maternal infant child health: caring for women and children, including the most vulnerable babies
  • Trafficked children: their rescue, rehabilitation and reconnection with family of origin
  • Working with communities who live remotely – really remotely- to make sure they have access to quality health and education services to improve their lives.

The Foundation approaches these areas in three ways: through service excellence, research and knowledge sharing. The Foundation works closely with community and today they reach well over 30,000 people each annually.
