10:30 am meet for a 11:00 am ferry departure to Governor’s Island

Battery Maritime Building, located at 10 South Street
*This Ferry Building is a short walk south of Pier 11 Wall Street.
*Most Brooklyn, Queens, and other Manhattan ferry lines connect to Pier 11. You’ll need to walk down to the Maritime Ferry Building from there. If you decide to take the ferry from Brooklyn Pier 6 directly to Governor’s Island, it lands on a different side of the island. Please then make your way to Blazing Saddles Bike Shop to meet the group at 11:30 AM.
Prepare to embark on an exciting journey to Governor’s Island with your fellow AWNY Families. This hidden gem, nestled off the southern tip of Manhattan, offers a car-free haven perfect for chilled-out hangouts and enjoyment.
What’s in Store:

- Bike rentals are available for kids and adults, letting you explore the island in style.
