Australian Women in New York are proud to partner with America Josh, Isla & Co, and the Australian Consulate-General for this unmissable event that promises something for everyone.

Whether you’re flying solo, bringing friends, or making it a family affair, this magical celebration will bring the warmth of an Aussie Christmas to the heart of NYC.

🎄 What to Expect

Here’s what’s happening throughout the day:

  • 3:30 PM: The festivities begin! Enjoy nibbles, drinks for the adults, and plenty of activities for the kids, including face painting and holiday crafts.
  • 4:00 PM: A very special visit from Santa Claus – perfect for photos and holiday cheer!
  • 4:30 PM: Get ready to sing along and dance as Ramblin’ Dan’s Freewheelin’ Band w/ Bandleader Austin takes the stage for some kid-friendly holiday tunes.
  • 5:00 PM: The moment we’ve all been waiting for: the lighting of the Big Aussie Christmas Tree, led by the Honorable Heather Ridout, Australian Consul-General in New York.
  • 6:00 PM: Show off your style (or lack of it) in the Best/Worst Christmas Sweater Contest – because the holidays are better with a little fun and flair!
  • 7:00 PM: The event wraps up, leaving everyone feeling merry and bright.
