The most wonderful time of the year is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate than by coming together for a Holiday Potluck at McCarren Parkhouse in Greenpoint, Brooklyn! Join AWNY Families for an afternoon filled with delicious food, great company, and festive cheer.

Date: Sunday, December 3rd
Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: McCarren Parkhouse Patio, 855 Lorimer Street, Brooklyn

We invite each of you to contribute to the potluck by bringing your favorite holiday dish. Whether it’s a mouthwatering starter, a hearty main course, a delectable side dish, or a scrumptious dessert, we welcome all culinary creations. Bring home-cooked specialties, store-bought treats, or even your best semi-homemade delights. The main goal is to come together as a community and celebrate the holiday spirit!

*More information to follow for those who RSVP, but we will have some chaffing dishes/warming trays available to keep food hot.

For those looking to enjoy a refreshing beverage while we mingle and savor the delicious food, McCarren Parkhouse has a fully stocked bar where you can purchase beer, wine, cocktails, or even a comforting hot toddy.

In addition to a delightful feast, we have planned some extra holiday fun for everyone. Music will set the mood, engaging festive activities for the kids, and maybe even a surprise visit from the jolly old man with a white beard!

The closest train stations to McCarren Parkhouse are the L train at Bedford and the G train at Nassau, making it easy for all our AWNY Families to attend.

If you prefer to drive to the event, the area around McCarren Park offers street parking. Additionally, parking garages are nearby for those who prefer covered parking options.

We warmly invite all families and fellow Aussies/Kiwis in the city and surrounding areas. Let’s come together, share in the holiday spirit, and make wonderful memories.
